Game 5 of the American League Championship Series is set for today, Sunday, October 18, at Progressive Field in Cleveland, where the Cleveland Guardians host the Tampa Bay Rays. First pitch is 2 p.m. PT on TBS, truTV and HBO Max.
The Rays evened the best-of-seven series at 2-2 with a win on Saturday, October 17, after Game 4 was pushed back by rain and the Guardians had led the series 2-1. Today's pitching matchup is Parker Messick for Cleveland against Drew Rasmussen for Tampa Bay.
In the National League, the Milwaukee Brewers swept the Los Angeles Dodgers 4-0 to reach the World Series, which opens October 23 on FOX. The ALCS winner will face Milwaukee.
If a Game 6 is needed, the series shifts to the Rays' home field.
