St. Louis City Halftime Segment Spotlights Ronald McDonald House: City, Cardinals and Blues Back Families of Sick Children
St. Louis, Missouri — During St. Louis City SC's home game against San Diego on October 31, the broadcast halftime segment spotlighted the work of Ronald McDonald House St. Louis, pairing soccer with community service.
On the Y98 halftime show, R.J. Crunk, president and CEO of Ronald McDonald House St. Louis, described the critical services the organization provides to families whose children are receiving medical care in St. Louis, keeping families close while their children undergo critical treatment. He noted that City players have visited the House several times, including making dinner and spending time with the kids, and that City, the Cardinals and the Blues have all supported the House in various ways to make it a home away from home, with the public able to help through donations and volunteering.
