特朗普支持率跌至33%创历次民调新低 中期选举倒计时两周
《华盛顿邮报》与 ABC新闻、益普索（Ipsos）10月18日发布的联合民调显示，美国总统特朗普的支持率跌至33%，66%的受访者不认可其执政表现，创下这三家机构历次民调中的最低纪录。此前4月和7月的同项民调中，特朗普支持率均为37%。有多达52% 的受访者表示"强烈不认可"。
另一项同日发布的 NBC 新闻决策台民调也印证了这一趋势：71%的成年人认为国家正走在"错误的轨道上"，为特朗普第二任期内的最高值；特朗普支持率为34%，同样是 NBC 本任期民调的最低点，51% 的受访者表示强烈不认可。
民调显示，经济、伊朗战争及其对美国家庭财务的影响是选民最关心的问题，约四分之三的受访者不认可特朗普在生活成本与通胀问题上的处理。值得注意的是，十多年来首次有更多选民认为民主党在经济问题上更值得信任（40% 对33%）。在众议院控制权归属上，登记选民中民主党领先共和党8个百分点，58%
的人希望民主党充当制衡白宫的力量。
中期选举将于11月3日举行，距今仅剩两周多。共和党在阿拉斯加、艾奥瓦、堪萨斯、缅因、密歇根、俄亥俄和得克萨斯等多个参议员席位上面临激烈竞争。

Trump's Approval Falls to a Record-Low 33% in New Polls, Two Weeks Before the Midterms
A joint Washington Post/ABC News/Ipsos poll released on Oct. 18 shows President Trump's approval rating has fallen to 33%, with 66% of respondents disapproving of his job performance — the lowest reading in the three organizations' polling history. In the same poll in April and July, Trump's approval stood at 37%. As many as 52% of respondents said they "strongly disapprove."
A separate NBC News Decision Desk poll released the same day echoed the trend: 71% of adults said the country is on the "wrong track," the highest of Trump's second term; Trump's approval was 34%, also NBC's lowest of this term, with 51% strongly disapproving.
The polls show the economy, the Iran war and their impact on household finances are voters' top concerns, with about three-quarters disapproving of Trump's handling of living costs and inflation. Notably, for the first time in more than a decade, more voters said Democrats are more trusted on the economy (40% to 33%). On control of the House, Democrats lead Republicans by 8 points among registered voters, and 58% said they want Democrats to serve as a check on the White House.
The midterm elections will be held on Nov. 3, just over two weeks away. Republicans face fiercely contested Senate seats in Alaska, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Michigan, Ohio, Texas and elsewhere.
