DENVER, Colo. — Colorado Avalanche head coach Jared Bednar confirmed on November 6 that forward Zach L'Heureux's upper-body injury will keep him out long term. L'Heureux has not played since his last game on October 10 and was placed on long-term injured reserve on October 23.

Bednar also confirmed that defenseman Josh Manson injured his ankle on October 28 against the New Jersey Devils and will miss about eight weeks.

In better news for Colorado, Nic Roy and Logan O'Connor have both returned to the lineup after dealing with injuries early in the season.
