美澳印日四国海军在横须贺开启马拉巴尔2026演习：四国第六次齐聚联演
日本神奈川县横须贺市是美国海军第七舰队的前进部署基地。11月5日，美国、澳大利亚、印度和日本四国海军人员登上日本海上自卫队「伊势」号直升机驱逐舰（DDH 182），为2026年马拉巴尔演习（Exercise Malabar 2026）举行开幕式，这项四国年度联合演习就此在横须贺一带展开。
美国海军说，美方参演力量包括一架 P-8A 海上巡逻机和两艘圣安东尼奥级船坞运输舰「安克雷奇」号（USS Anchorage，LPD 23）与「约翰·穆尔沙」号（USS John P. Murtha，LPD 26）；印度海军、日本海上自卫队、澳大利亚海军与澳大利亚皇家空军一同参演。开幕式之后，演习将转入横须贺周边的岸基与海上阶段，训练涵盖水面、水下、空中与信息域的协同作战。
美国海军第七舰队司令 Pat Hannifin 中将说：「这项演习1992年起步时只是美印两国的一场双边活动，三十多年来已经成长为首屈一指的四边演习。这种成长提升了我们的互操作能力，共同维护一个惠及所有国家的自由开放的印太地区。」

U.S., Australian, Indian and Japanese Navies Open Exercise Malabar 2026 at Yokosuka
YOKOSUKA, Japan — U.S. naval forces joined the Australian Defence Force, the Indian Navy and the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) aboard the JMSDF helicopter destroyer JS Ise (DDH 182) at Yokosuka on November 5 for the opening ceremony of Exercise Malabar 2026, the U.S. Navy announced.
U.S. participation includes a P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol aircraft and the San Antonio-class amphibious transport docks USS Anchorage (LPD 23) and USS John P. Murtha (LPD 26), alongside the Indian Navy, the JMSDF, the Royal Australian Navy and the Royal Australian Air Force. After the ceremony, scheduled at-shore and at-sea exercises will take place in the vicinity of Yokosuka, with combined training in the surface, sub-surface, air and information domains.
"What began in 1992 as a modest bilateral event between the United States and India has matured over three decades into a premier, quadrilateral exercise," said Vice Adm. Pat Hannifin, commander of U.S. 7th Fleet. "This growth builds our interoperability to collaboratively reinforce a free and open Indo-Pacific that benefits all nations."
Malabar began in 1992 as a U.S.-India bilateral exercise and has since grown in scope and complexity, with Japan and Australia joining later. This year marks the sixth time all four nations have participated together. The Navy said the multi-domain training builds real-world proficiency in detecting, locating, tracking and engaging units at sea, in the air and in cyberspace, and demonstrates a shared commitment to the rule of law and freedom of navigation.
