华人龙之队回归 Walk for Hope：11月8日尔湾公益健走，2K与5K免费参加
11月8日（星期日），希望之城（City of Hope）Walk for Hope 公益健走将在加州橙县尔湾市的希望之城橙县院区举行。华人队伍「龙之队」（Team Dragon）近日发布海报宣布回归，号召社区居民加入队伍，与南加州生物医学和制药促进会（SABPA）OC/LA 队伍等社区团队同日同场参加，为希望之城的癌症研究与患者关怀筹款。
龙之队发布的海报以队伍大合影为主图，队员统一穿着蓝色龙之队 T 恤，海报打出「TEAM DRAGON IS COMING BACK!」（龙之队回归）与「JOIN TEAM DRAGON!」（加入龙之队）字样，并请大家记下日期：2026 年 11 月 8 日。
龙之队由 American Lending Center 与 Sunstone Management 携手社区伙伴发起，由 John Shen 担任队长。队伍以橙县为家，号召亚太裔（AAPI）社群以实际行动支持癌症研究与患者关怀，大人孩子均可参加。龙之队将统一提供专属队员 T 恤，请队员穿着轻便舒适的运动鞋参加，队伍当天上午 9:00 集合。
活动当天场地于上午 8:00 开放，健走上午 9:30 开始，设 2K 与 5K 两条路线，报名免费，参与者可自愿捐款支持公益。活动地点为 City of Hope Orange County, 1000 Fivepoint, Irvine, CA 92618。
Walk for Hope 是希望之城的年度品牌公益活动，口号为「To End Cancer for All」，自 1997 年创办以来已筹集近 5,000 万美元，用于加速癌症研究与创新治疗。今年橙县站与洛杉矶站同在 11 月 8 日举行，据主办方官网，橙县站已有 2,700 多人报名。

Team Dragon Returns for Walk for Hope: Free 2K and 5K Charity Walk in Irvine on Nov. 8
On Sunday, November 8, City of Hope's Walk for Hope charity walk will take place at City of Hope Orange County in Irvine, Orange County, California. The Chinese-American Team Dragon has released a poster announcing its return, calling on community members to join the team and walk alongside community teams including the SABPA OC/LA team, raising funds for City of Hope's cancer research and patient care.
The team's poster features a large group photo of its members in matching blue Team Dragon T-shirts, headlined “TEAM DRAGON IS COMING BACK!” and “JOIN TEAM DRAGON!”, with a save-the-date for November 8, 2026.
Team Dragon was launched by American Lending Center and Sunstone Management together with community partners and is captained by John Shen. Based in Orange County, the team calls on the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community to support cancer research and patient care in person; adults and children are all welcome. The team will provide its official T-shirts, and members are asked to wear comfortable athletic shoes and gather at 9:00 a.m. on the day.
The venue opens at 8:00 a.m. and the walk starts at 9:30 a.m., with 2K and 5K routes. Entry is free, and participants may make voluntary donations. The event is held at City of Hope Orange County, 1000 Fivepoint, Irvine, CA 92618.
Walk for Hope is City of Hope's signature annual charity event, held under the banner “To End Cancer for All.” Since its founding in 1997 it has raised nearly $50 million to accelerate cancer research and innovative treatments. This year the Orange County and Los Angeles walks both fall on November 8, and more than 2,700 walkers have registered for the Orange County event, according to the organizer.
