希望之城公益健走11月8日在加州橙县尔湾市举行：华人龙之队开放报名，2K与5K免费参加
希望之城（City of Hope）癌症医疗中心主办的年度公益健走 Walk for Hope 将于2026年11月8日（星期日）在加州橙县尔湾市的希望之城橙县院区举行，场地上午8:00开放、健走上午9:30开始；由 American Lending Center 与 Sunstone Management 携手社区伙伴发起的华人队伍「龙之队」（Team Dragon）现已开放招募，报名免费，参与者可自愿捐款支持癌症研究与患者关怀。
龙之队由 John Shen 担任队长。队伍以橙县为家，号召亚太裔（AAPI）社群以实际行动支持癌症研究与患者关怀，大人孩子均可参加。活动设2K与5K两条路线，参与者可根据个人情况自愿捐款支持公益；龙之队将统一提供专属队员T恤，请队员活动当天穿着，并请穿着轻便舒适的运动鞋参加活动。龙之队当天上午9:00集合。

City of Hope's annual Walk for Hope charity walk takes place on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at City of Hope Orange County in Irvine, Orange County, California. The site opens at 8:00 a.m. and the walk begins at 9:30 a.m. Team Dragon, a Chinese community team launched by American Lending Center and Sunstone Management together with community partners, is now recruiting members. Registration is free, and participants may make a voluntary donation to support cancer research and patient care.
Led by team captain John Shen, Team Dragon calls on the AAPI community to support cancer research and patient care, and welcomes both adults and children. Walkers may choose the 2K or 5K route and donate as they wish. The team provides an exclusive team T-shirt to be worn on the day, and participants are asked to wear light, comfortable athletic shoes. Team Dragon gathers at 9:00 a.m.
Walk for Hope, City of Hope's signature fundraising event, has raised nearly $50 million since 1997 to accelerate cancer research and innovative treatments. The Orange County and Los Angeles walks both fall on November 8 in 2026, and more than 2,700 walkers have registered for the Orange County event, according to the organizer.
