麻将减压夜11月4日在亚历山德里亚开桌，新手可现场学打美式麻将
弗吉尼亚州亚历山德里亚市——11月4日晚6时30分至9时，亚历山德里亚市南 Pickett 街847号的 Aslin 啤酒公司将举办一场名为「甜蜜减压：麻将与放松」的新手麻将夜，由 Mind Your Mahjong 主办。活动特意选在11月4日，因为这一天既是全国减压意识日，也是全国糖果日，主办方希望用一桌麻将加轻食的方式，帮大家在忙碌的生活中放松下来。

Mahjong De-Stress Night Opens November 4 in Alexandria, Beginners Can Learn American Mahjong On Site
Alexandria, Virginia — From 6:30 to 9 p.m. on November 4, Aslin Beer Company at 847 South Pickett Street in Alexandria will host a beginner mahjong night called "Sweet Relief: Mahj & Unwind," organized by Mind Your Mahjong. The date was chosen on purpose: November 4 is both National Stress Awareness Day and National Candy Day, and the organizers hope a table of mahjong and some light bites will help people unwind from busy lives.
The evening has two tracks, a beginner lesson and hosted open play. First-time players can learn the tiles, the National Mah Jongg League card and the basics of American mahjong in a friendly setting, while experienced players can join open tables directly. Light bites and a raffle are also on offer.
Organizers note that space is limited and recommend reserving early; participants are asked to bring their 2026 National Mah Jongg League card. For Chinese families and mahjong lovers in Northern Virginia, it is a low-barrier community gathering where parents can learn the game and make friends together with teenagers or grandparents.
