外交部回应朝鲜导弹试验：希望有关方正视半岛问题根源，坚持政治解决大方向
11月2日，中国外交部发言人毛宁主持例行记者会，就朝鲜10月31日进行战术弹道导弹散布战斗部威力评估试验作出回应。
韩联社记者在会上提问称，朝鲜导弹总局10月31日进行了战术弹道导弹散布战斗部威力评估试验，该试验正值韩国向朝鲜提出军事会谈提议之际，朝方至今尚未回应，问中方如何评价。
毛宁表示，中方注意到有关报道，也注意到朝方近期针对美国、韩国、日本军事动向多次表明立场。我们希望有关方正视半岛问题根源，坚持政治解决大方向，为缓和紧张局势、维护地区和平稳定做出努力。
同一场记者会上，韩联社记者还问及美国联邦调查局（FBI）10月31日指朝鲜是加密货币交易所币安约63亿美元被盗案的“幕后黑手”、美国总统特朗普表示如情况属实将就此与朝鲜讨论一事，毛宁回答：“你的第二个问题，我们不了解情况。”
朝方此前已就此次试验发声：朝鲜国防科研机构称完成集束炸弹弹头威力评估试验，并称各型弹头年底前可供部队使用。FBI则于10月31日正式认定币安被盗案系朝鲜所为。

China's Foreign Ministry Responds to North Korean Missile Test: Face the Root Causes of the Peninsula Issue and Stick to a Political Settlement
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning responded on November 2 to North Korea's October 31 tactical ballistic missile submunition warhead power test at a regular press conference in Beijing.
A Yonhap News Agency reporter noted that North Korea's Missile Administration conducted the test on October 31, at a time when South Korea had proposed military talks with the North and had received no response, and asked for China's comment.
Mao said China had noted the reports, and had also noted that the North Korean side had stated its position repeatedly in response to recent military moves by the United States, South Korea and Japan. 'We hope the parties concerned will face the root causes of the Peninsula issue squarely, stick to the direction of a political settlement, and make efforts to ease tensions and maintain regional peace and stability,' she said.
At the same briefing, the reporter also asked about the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation's October 31 finding that North Korea was behind the roughly $6.3 billion hack of cryptocurrency exchange Binance, and President Donald Trump's remark that he would discuss the matter with North Korea if it proved true. 'On your second question, we are not aware of the specifics,' Mao said.
Pyongyang has already spoken on the test itself: its defense research institution said it had completed a cluster-bomb warhead power evaluation test and that the warheads could be fielded by the end of the year. The FBI formally attributed the Binance theft to North Korea on October 31.
