旧金山芭蕾舞团《胡桃夹子》12月4日开演：战争纪念歌剧院里的美国首部全本传统

San Francisco Ballet's Nutcracker opens December 4 at the War Memorial Opera House (301 Van Ness Ave) in San Francisco, California, running into late December, including a sensory-friendly performance on the morning of December 27; see the company calendar for the closing date.
San Francisco Ballet staged America's first complete Nutcracker in 1944. Helgi Tomasson's production sets Clara's journey in a Victorian San Francisco mansion in the year of the 1915 world's fair, with Tchaikovsky's score played live by the SF Ballet Orchestra; running time is about 117 minutes including a 20-minute intermission. A 21-and-over Nutcracker Nightcap afterparty follows the December 4 performance on a separate ticket.
