位于加利福尼亚州洛杉矶县洛杉矶市的威尔希尔埃贝尔剧场（Wilshire Ebell Theatre，4401 W. 8th St, Los Angeles）将在12月11日迎来乌克兰大基辅芭蕾舞团（Grand Kyiv Ballet）的《胡桃夹子：光之交响》（The Nutcracker: Symphony of Lights），北美巡演洛杉矶站仅此一晚。
大基辅芭蕾舞团由乌克兰国家歌剧院芭蕾舞团的舞者组成，近年以世界巡演把乌克兰芭蕾带到各国舞台。这台《胡桃夹子》以灯光投影与舞台光影重塑柴可夫斯基的圣诞童话，是该团节日季巡演的主打制作，其后还将北上旧金山（12月23日）。
威尔希尔埃贝尔剧场是1927年落成的历史剧场，座位千余，是洛杉矶中城难得的古典剧场空间；乌克兰舞团的巡演场次历来上座快。

Grand Kyiv Ballet Brings 'The Nutcracker: Symphony of Lights' to the Wilshire Ebell Theatre December 11
The Wilshire Ebell Theatre (4401 W. 8th St) in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California, hosts Ukraine's Grand Kyiv Ballet in The Nutcracker: Symphony of Lights on December 11, the single Los Angeles stop of its North American tour.
Drawn from dancers of the National Opera of Ukraine's ballet company, Grand Kyiv Ballet has spent recent seasons touring Ukrainian ballet worldwide. Its Nutcracker reshapes Tchaikovsky's Christmas tale with light projection and luminous staging, and the tour continues north to San Francisco on December 23.
The Wilshire Ebell, a historic theater opened in 1927 with just over a thousand seats, is one of mid-city Los Angeles' rare classical stages; the company's tour dates traditionally draw well.
