话剧《约翰·普罗克特是反派》11月12日西岸首演：五个女生重读《熔炉》
位于加利福尼亚州旧金山市（市县合一）的美国经典剧院（A.C.T.）托尼·伦贝剧场（Toni Rembe Theater，415 Geary St, San Francisco）将于11月12日上演话剧《约翰·普罗克特是反派》（John Proctor Is the Villain）西岸首演，档期至12月6日，11月18日为媒体首演夜。
该剧由金伯利·贝尔弗劳尔（Kimberly Belflower）编剧，曾获托尼奖提名：佐治亚州一个只有一个红绿灯的小镇上，五名高中女生在英语精读课上重读阿瑟·米勒《熔炉》，课本里的英雄与反派在她们自己的生活面前开始换位。配乐是流行与怒音交织的青春声场。

'John Proctor Is the Villain' Makes Its West Coast Premiere at A.C.T. November 12
American Conservatory Theater's Toni Rembe Theater (415 Geary St) in San Francisco, California, presents the West Coast premiere of John Proctor Is the Villain from November 12 to December 6, with press night on November 18.
Kimberly Belflower's Tony Award-nominated play follows five young women in a one-stoplight Georgia town whose AP English class dissects Arthur Miller's The Crucible — until the heroes and villains of the textbook start trading places with the people in their own lives. The soundtrack is a rush of pop and fury.
The production is a three-way collaboration among A.C.T., Seattle Rep and Center Theatre Group, directed by Jess McLeod, bringing the much-discussed new play to the West Coast for the first time.
