Dominic Fike

Dominic Fike Releases Third Album How to Quit Smoking, Recorded on Tour Buses and in Hotel Rooms
Dominic Fike's third studio album, How to Quit Smoking, was released on October 30 through Columbia Records: a 15-song collection running about 40 minutes on Apple Music, following 2023's Sunburn.
What sets the record apart is how it was made. According to BroadwayWorld's October 19 report, Fike began creating the album during the North American leg of his Comedy Tragedy Parody tour, turning hotel rooms, greenrooms and the tour bus into working spaces, with songs written, performed and produced in real time on the road.
'Wallflower,' 'Small Town' and 'Pangea' previewed the project as it took shape. The 'Pangea' video, directed by Reed Bennett and Kevin Abstract, was shot from a seaplane over Vancouver while Fike was visiting the city on tour. Apple Music's editorial overview highlights contributions from Danny Brown, Emma Ogier and Love Spells, as well as the inclusion of 'White Keys.' The 'Wallflower' video was released on Fike's official channel.
The touring connection continues next year: the previously announced European and U.K. leg of his tour begins February 9 in Düsseldorf and ends March 6 in Manchester.
