据路透社10月28日报道，也门胡塞武装10月27日声称以导弹击中沙特阿拉伯最大的炼油厂，国际油价随之在28日上涨：格林尼治时间01:40，布伦特原油期货上涨1.48美元、涨幅1.3%，至每桶115.36美元；美国西得克萨斯中间基原油（WTI）上涨1.22美元、涨幅1.22%，至每桶101.12美元。沙特当局尚未证实这座日加工能力55万桶的炼油厂遭到袭击。
胡塞武装发言人 Yahya Saree 在声明中称，被袭目标是位于沙特东部省的 Ras Tanura 炼油厂，并称导弹命中目标、厂区燃起大火；声明另称也门武装还以弹道导弹分别袭击了 Najran 机场与 Khamis Mushait 的 King Khalid 空军基地的两架沙特军用运输机。上述战果说法均出自胡塞一方，未获独立证实，沙特方面未作确认。
油价此前在27日因中东谈判消息缓解供应担忧而下跌近2美元，28日反弹。市场同时在等待美国库存数据：路透社对8名分析师的调查预计，截至10月23日一周美国原油库存约增加1.5万桶。另据三名知情人士向路透社表示，石油输出国组织及其盟友（OPEC+）预计将在周日维持12月产量目标不变。

Yemen's Houthi movement said on October 27 that it had hit Saudi Arabia's largest oil refinery with a missile, and oil prices rose on October 28, Reuters reported: Brent crude futures gained $1.48, or 1.3%, to $115.36 a barrel as of 0140 GMT, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate rose $1.22, or 1.22%, to $101.12. Saudi authorities did not immediately confirm a strike on the 550,000-barrel-per-day facility.
Houthi spokesman Yahya Saree said in a statement that the target was the Ras Tanura refinery in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province, claiming the missile struck its target and triggered major fires; the statement also claimed ballistic missiles targeted two Saudi military transport aircraft, at Najran Airport and at King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait. All of those claims come from the Houthi side, have not been independently verified, and have not been confirmed by Saudi Arabia.
Prices were rebounding after dropping nearly $2 on Tuesday as Middle East talks eased supply worries. Markets were also awaiting U.S. inventory data: a Reuters poll of eight analysts expected crude stockpiles to have risen by about 15,000 barrels in the week ended October 23. Separately, three people with knowledge of the matter told Reuters that OPEC+ producers are expected to keep their December oil output targets steady on Sunday.
Background: on October 26 the Houthis claimed attacks on a Saudi east-west crude pipeline pumping station and on Riyadh's airport, which Saudi Arabia likewise did not confirm (see GSM's earlier report). Two consecutive days of claimed strikes on Saudi energy and military facilities have pushed market pricing of Middle East supply risk higher again.
