Tony-Winning Comedy Oh, Mary! Plays the Ahmanson Theatre November 10 to December 6: Cole Escola's Mary Todd Lincoln Comedy
The Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California, presents the Tony Award-winning comedy Oh, Mary! from November 10 to December 6: the play follows a miserable, suffocated Mary Todd Lincoln in the weeks leading up to Abraham Lincoln's assassination, and her unrequited yearning and forgotten dreams. The theatre is at 135 North Grand Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90012.
According to Center Theatre Group's announced 2026-27 season, the play is written by Tony winner Cole Escola and directed by Tony winner Sam Pinkleton. It opened on Broadway at the Lyceum Theatre in July 2024 and became the first show in that theatre's 121-year history to gross more than $1 million in a single week, later breaking its own box office record twelve times and recouping its investment; a London West End production opened on December 18, 2025.
Performances run November 10 to December 6, 2026 (see centertheatregroup.org for showtimes). Venue: Ahmanson Theatre. Tickets are sold online at centertheatregroup.org. This is a ticketed production.
