The War Memorial Opera House in San Francisco, California, presents San Francisco Ballet's The Nutcracker from December 4 to 27: Clara and the Nutcracker Prince's holiday adventure, set to Tchaikovsky's classic score, in the company's annual December engagement.
San Francisco Ballet is one of the oldest professional ballet companies in the United States; its Nutcracker received its American premiere here in 1944 and has been a San Francisco holiday tradition since. The opera house is at 301 Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94102, across from City Hall.
