联合国在日内瓦召集近二十国协调苏丹和平努力：苏丹政府与快速支援部队均未派代表出席
据联合国新闻10月21日报道，联合国当天在瑞士日内瓦召集近二十个国家举行磋商会议，讨论如何加强对苏丹和平倡议的协调。这是「加强和平倡议协调磋商会议」框架下的最新一轮会谈。
报道指出，苏丹政府与交战方快速支援部队（RSF）均未派代表出席此次会议；该会议属于调解方之间的协调机制。联合国秘书长苏丹问题个人特使还在会议间隙与「四方」机制（美国、沙特阿拉伯、阿联酋与埃及）以及「五方」机制（非洲联盟、政府间发展组织、联合国、欧洲联盟与阿拉伯联盟）进行接触。
此次和平协调会谈之前一天，各方先在日内瓦举行了以人道问题为重点的会谈，红十字国际委员会等机构参与。苏丹武装冲突自2023年4月爆发以来持续至今，联合国多次呼吁各方停火并加强协调一致的国际调解努力。

UN Convenes Nearly Two Dozen Countries in Geneva to Coordinate Sudan Peace Efforts: Neither Sudanese Government nor RSF Represented
UN News reported on October 21 that the United Nations convened nearly two dozen countries in Geneva, Switzerland, on Wednesday for consultative meetings on enhancing coordination of peace initiatives for Sudan.
Neither the Sudanese Government nor the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) was represented at the talks, which form part of a mediators' coordination mechanism. On the margins of the meeting, the UN Secretary-General's Personal Envoy for Sudan also engaged with the "Quad" (the United States, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Egypt) and the "Quintet" (the African Union, IGAD, the United Nations, the European Union and the League of Arab States).
The peace-coordination meeting followed a day of humanitarian-focused talks in Geneva involving organizations including the International Committee of the Red Cross. Sudan's war, which began in April 2023, continues, and the UN has repeatedly called for a ceasefire and better-coordinated international mediation.
