The Ring in Concert Tonight in Los Angeles: A 40-Piece Orchestra Performs Hans Zimmer's Score Live
Downtown Los Angeles, in Los Angeles County, California, hosts a film-in-concert performance tonight: the psychological horror film The Ring will screen on October 22 at 8:00 p.m. at the United Theater on Broadway, with a 40-piece live orchestra performing composer Hans Zimmer's score. The venue is at 933 S. Broadway, Los Angeles 90015. The listing was published by Discover Los Angeles, the city's official tourism guide.
Directed by Gore Verbinski and starring Naomi Watts, The Ring is rated PG-13. It follows journalist Rachel Keller as she investigates a mysterious videotape: anyone who views it receives a phone call from a voice warning "seven days." In the original soundtrack's liner notes, Hans Zimmer describes the score's minimalist, unsettling approach as essential to the film's creeping dread and psychological tension.
This is a ticketed performance; ticket prices are as announced by the presenter, with tickets available through the presenter and venue channels.
