Australia's APA Group Approves A$700 Million Bulloo Interlink Pipeline Investment
SYDNEY — Australian energy infrastructure company APA Group has approved a A$700 million (about $492 million) investment in the Bulloo Interlink Pipeline, taking its total commitment to about A$920 million including A$220 million of early works. The pipeline will connect Queensland's gas fields with eastern coastal markets, and APA has signed a five-year take-or-pay agreement with Origin Energy. Construction is planned to start in early 2027, with operations targeted for winter 2029. APA said the pipeline will improve gas supply security on Australia's east coast for power generation and industrial users.
