瑞士释放最多3万立方米强制航油储备：苏黎世机场供应因铁路与莱茵河运输受阻告急

Switzerland Releases Up to 30,000 Cubic Metres of Mandatory Jet Fuel Reserves as Zurich Airport Deliveries Falter
The Swiss Confederation has decided to temporarily release aviation fuel from national mandatory reserves to offset logistical bottlenecks affecting Zurich Airport. By decision of Roland Pfister, Delegate for National Economic Supply, dated October 15, mineral oil importers and airport suppliers may withdraw up to 30,000 cubic metres of kerosene from state-controlled reserve stocks between October 15 and November 1, 2026. The volume equals roughly 6.5 percent of Switzerland's total mandatory aviation fuel reserves and is meant to bridge acute supply gaps in rail freight transport.
The shortfall was triggered by severe capacity constraints and train cancellations on the German rail corridors, through which a significant share of Switzerland's fuel imports is handled. Persistently low water levels on the Rhine sharply reduced the loading capacity of inland shipping. Cargo that could not move by water was shifted to rail, further straining the already congested Deutsche Bahn network and delaying kerosene deliveries to Zurich Airport in Kloten.
The Federal Office for National Economic Supply (BWL) said the fuel available at Zurich Airport would not have been enough to maintain regular flight operations without the government intervention. Swiss, the home carrier, and the airport operator confirmed that the use of reserves caused no restrictions or cancellations of passenger or cargo flights. The market for gasoline, diesel and heating oil is also tight, although basic supply is considered secure.
