印度尼西亚央行连续第四次维持基准利率5.75%：下调存款准备金率，隔夜存款利率上调至5%
印度尼西亚央行10月21日在雅加达宣布，维持7天逆回购基准利率于5.75%不变，连续第四次政策会议按兵不动。路透社调查的29位经济学家中，15位预期维持不变，其余预期至少加息25个基点以遏制市场抛售。
央行同时下调银行存款准备金率：传统银行由9%降至7%，伊斯兰银行由7.5%降至5.5%；隔夜存款便利利率上调25个基点至5.00%，贷款便利利率维持6.50%不变。
此次决议正值印尼市场动荡之际。央行今年5月至6月曾累计加息100个基点，把政策利率推至2025年4月以来最高水平以支撑印尼盾；近日，指数提供商 MSCI 警告可能把印尼股票降为「单独市场」地位，引发股市创纪录的两日暴跌，印尼盾徘徊在历史低点附近。

Bank Indonesia Holds Benchmark Rate at 5.75% for a Fourth Straight Meeting: Reserve Requirements Cut as Overnight Deposit Rate Rises to 5%
Bank Indonesia announced in Jakarta on October 21 that it was keeping its benchmark seven-day reverse repurchase rate unchanged at 5.75%, the fourth straight policy meeting without a move. Of 29 economists polled by Reuters, 15 had expected the hold, while the rest had expected a hike of at least 25 basis points to stem the market selloff.
The central bank lowered banks' reserve requirements, to 7% from 9% for conventional banks and to 5.5% from 7.5% for Islamic banks. It raised the overnight deposit facility rate by 25 basis points to 5.00% and kept the lending facility rate unchanged at 6.50%.
The decision came amid market turmoil. Bank Indonesia raised rates by a total of 100 basis points between May and June, bringing the policy rate to its highest level since April 2025 to defend the rupiah. In recent days, a warning from index provider MSCI that it could relegate Indonesian equities to standalone market status triggered a record-breaking two-day stock market rout, with the rupiah hovering near an all-time low.
Annual inflation accelerated to a three-month high of 3.28% in September, while core inflation eased to 2.84%. The central bank expects inflation to remain within its target range of 2.5% plus or minus one percentage point, and it maintained its 2026 GDP growth forecast of 4.9% to 5.7%.
