No ticket matched all six numbers in the Powerball drawing held on Monday night, October 19, lottery officials said. The winning numbers were 8, 31, 32, 42 and 48, with a Powerball of 23 and a Power Play multiplier of 4x. The jackpot for Monday's drawing was an estimated $607 million, with a cash option of $255.7 million, according to Powerball. One ticket sold in Michigan matched all five white balls to win a $1 million prize. With no jackpot winner, the prize rolls to an estimated $635 million, with a cash option of about $267.5 million, for the next drawing on Wednesday, October 21, at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time. The jackpot was last won on August 12, when a player in Illinois won about $1.04 billion. Powerball tickets cost $2 per play, with the Power Play multiplier available for an additional $1, and drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday night. The odds of winning the jackpot are about 1 in 292.2 million.
