Ohio State 四分卫 Julian Sayin 伤情更新：主教练 Ryan Day 确认至少缺阵数周
Ohio State QB Julian Sayin Injury Update: Ryan Day Confirms He Will Miss at Least Several Weeks
Columbus is a city in Franklin County, Ohio. Columbus, Ohio, home of Ohio State, is focused on the Buckeyes' quarterback situation this week. Head coach Ryan Day confirmed on the evening of October 19, during a radio appearance on 97.1 The Fan in Columbus, that starting quarterback Julian Sayin will miss at least several weeks, with his throwing-arm injury still undergoing testing and evaluation and no firmer return timetable available. "It'll be at least several weeks, but no update right now," Day said. "They're still going through some of their testing and some of their meetings."
Sayin was injured in the fourth quarter of Ohio State's 19-15 road win at Indiana on Saturday, October 17, which ended the Hoosiers' 22-game winning streak. Indiana defensive lineman Mario Landino hit his right (throwing) shoulder, forcing a fumble. Sayin left for evaluation and returned to the sideline wearing a sling, and did not play again. He had made 21 consecutive starts and has thrown for 2,007 yards this season.
True freshman Luke Fahey, who beat out former five-star recruit Tavien St. Clair for the backup job in the preseason, finished the fourth quarter and is expected to start during Sayin's absence. Ohio State has a bye this week, then travels to USC on October 31 before home games against Oregon and Northwestern. (GSM, based on USA TODAY and ESPN reporting)
