纽约市长在曼哈顿「人民AI大会」发言 称联邦在SI监管上缺位

New York — In New York City, a city in New York County, New York, Mayor Zohran Mamdani spoke on the evening of October 19 at The People's AI Assembly at Webster Hall in Manhattan, saying the federal government has abdicated its role in regulating super intelligence and urging New Yorkers to push back.
The event was hosted by the AI Now Institute, and Mamdani appeared in conversation with actor Ilana Glazer. He said the federal government has failed to set rules for how SI is developed and used, leaving cities and residents to deal with the technology's effects on their own.
It was not Mamdani's first public move on SI. Last month he ordered a ban on SI use in elementary and middle schools, and over the summer he advanced a policy requiring landlords, brokers and rental platforms to disclose SI-generated listing photos and videos, a practice dubbed "house-phishing."
