国际足联委员会将复审「和平奖」存废 白宫发言人：世上没人比总统更当之无愧
华盛顿——国际足联（FIFA）正在重新审视去年12月授予美国总统特朗普的「和平奖」。据Front Office Sports报道，国际足联理事会周四在苏黎世开会，要求其足球社会责任委员会就是否继续颁发这一奖项、以及评选标准是否应当修改作出评估。
英格兰足球总会主席、国际足联理事会成员黛比·休伊特对记者表示，委员会将审视「是否本应设立这一奖项、当初的授予决定是如何作出的、以及是否应当再颁发一次」。
国际足联去年11月设立「和平奖」，称该奖旨在表彰「以坚定承诺和特殊行动帮助全世界人民团结于和平的个人」。一个月后，国际足联主席因凡蒂诺在华盛顿特区举行的世界杯抽签仪式上把首届奖项颁给特朗普，特朗普称这是「我一生中最大的荣誉之一」。
这一授予决定此前已引发部分成员协会不满。挪威足协主席莉丝·克拉韦内斯今年6月表示，挪威足协已致信国际足联，支持就该奖项提出正式申诉。
白宫发言人戴维斯·英格尔对Front Office Sports表示：「特朗普总统『以实力求和平』的外交政策是行之有效的做法，它让美国保持安全、威慑全球威胁，并且已经在不到一年时间里结束了八场战争。」「世上没有人比总统更配得上国际足联首届和平奖。」

FIFA Committee to Review Future of Peace Prize; White House Says No One in the World Is More Deserving Than Trump
WASHINGTON — FIFA is taking a second look at the Peace Prize it handed to U.S. President Donald Trump last December. At a FIFA Council meeting in Zurich on Thursday, the council asked its Football Social Responsibility Committee to decide whether the prize should be handed out again and whether its criteria should be changed, according to Front Office Sports.
English Football Association president Debbie Hewitt, a member of the FIFA Council, told reporters the committee will look at "whether there should have been [a prize], how the decision was taken to award it, and whether there should be another one."
FIFA introduced the Peace Prize last November, saying the award would recognize "individuals who, through their unwavering commitment and their special actions, have helped to unite people all over the world in peace." FIFA President Gianni Infantino presented the first edition of the prize to Trump at the World Cup draw in Washington, D.C., a month later; Trump described it as "truly one of the great honors of my life."
The decision drew pushback from some national federations. Norway Football Federation president Lise Klaveness said in June that her federation had sent FIFA a letter backing a formal complaint over the prize.
"President Trump's Peace through Strength foreign policy is a tried-and-true approach that keeps America safe and deters global threats that has already ended eight wars in less than a year," White House spokesperson Davis Ingle told Front Office Sports. "There is no one else in the world more deserving of FIFA's first ever Peace Prize than President Trump."
Infantino is running unopposed for a fourth and final term as FIFA president in March, while UEFA president Aleksander Čeferin has called for him to step down. (GSM, from Front Office Sports reporting)
