President Donald Trump held a rally on Friday afternoon, October 16, inside a hangar at Dalton Municipal Airport in Dalton, Georgia, campaigning for Republican candidates. According to Reuters, while discussing Iran, Trump joked about the popularity of the name Mohammad among Muslims, saying that if in doubt about a name from the Middle East, "just say 'Mohammad'" because "you have about a 65% chance" — a line that drew a muted response from the crowd. Dalton was one stop on Trump's final-month midterm campaign swing through Republican states; he is scheduled to appear in Highland Heights, Kentucky, on Saturday.
