泰国气象局发布暴雨预警：强降雨18日起先袭南部东部 21日至25日扩及 Bangkok 及中部地区
泰国气象局于10月17日清晨5时发布2026年第1号（总第260号）天气预警：泰国多地将迎来一轮持续降雨过程，时段覆盖10月18日至25日，局部地区有大雨到暴雨，并伴有山洪、河道漫溢与山体滑坡风险。
按气象局的划分，第一阶段为10月18日至20日，南部和东部地区将出现持续降雨，局部地区有大雨到暴雨。第二阶段为10月21日至25日，东北部下部、中部（包括 Bangkok 及周边地区）、东部和南部上部降雨增多，局部地区有大雨到暴雨，并伴有阵风；其中东部春武里、罗勇、尖竹汶等省份21日至22日有特大暴雨。
海上方面，气象局指出，Andaman Sea 与泰国湾的雷暴区域浪高可超过3米，船只需谨慎航行并避开雷暴区域。陆上方面，山麓、河道附近与低洼地带需留意山洪、河道漫溢与山体滑坡，气象局同时提示各地关注累计降雨量。
气象局表示，这轮天气过程与横贯南部下部的季风槽以及 Andaman Sea 下部的西南季风有关；其后季风槽将移向南部上部、泰国湾上部与东部，来自中国的高压系统也将扩展至泰国北部地区与南海上空。气象局定于17日下午5时发布下一期预警。（GSM 据泰国气象局预警公告报道）
Thailand Issues Heavy Rain Warning: South and East First From October 18, Bangkok and Central Region to Follow October 21-25
The Thai Meteorological Department (TMD) issued its Warning No. 1 (260/2026) at 5 a.m. on October 17, forecasting a prolonged spell of rain across much of Thailand from October 18 to 25, with isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall and risks of flash floods, overflowing waterways and landslides.
In the first phase, from October 18 to 20, the South and the East will see continuous rain with isolated heavy to very heavy downpours. In the second phase, from October 21 to 25, rainfall will increase over the lower Northeast, the Central region including Bangkok and its vicinity, the East and the upper South, with isolated heavy to very heavy rain and gusty winds.
At sea, the department said waves in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand could exceed three metres in thunderstorm areas, and vessels were told to proceed with caution and avoid those areas. On land, the warning highlights flash floods, overflowing waterways and landslides, particularly around foothills, waterways and low-lying areas, and advises monitoring accumulated rainfall.
The TMD linked the first phase to a monsoon trough lying across the lower South and the southwest monsoon over the lower Andaman Sea. The trough is then expected to shift towards the upper South, the upper Gulf and the East, while a high-pressure system from China extends across northern Thailand and the South China Sea. The department scheduled its next warning issue for 5 p.m. on October 17.
In the second phase, the eastern provinces of Chonburi, Rayong and Chanthaburi were singled out for torrential rain on October 21–22. (GSM, based on the Thai Meteorological Department warning)
