亨茨维尔市Memorial Parkway新立交开通 市中心10多英里一路无红灯

Huntsville Opens Mastin Lake Road Overpass on Memorial Parkway
Huntsville — Huntsville is a city in Madison County, Alabama. The City of Huntsville, joined by the Alabama Department of Transportation and Governor Kay Ivey's office, held a ribbon-cutting on October 16 to open the new Mastin Lake Road overpass on Memorial Parkway.
The city said drivers can now travel more than 10 miles through downtown on Memorial Parkway with no traffic signals and no at-grade intersections. The project is part of the Restore Our Roads partnership with ALDOT, which also includes new interchanges and ramps on the parkway's south segment, widening of Cecil Ashburn Drive and the new Northern Bypass (State Route 255).
Mayor Tommy Battle, District 1 Councilmember Michelle Watkins and state lawmakers attended. The city said the interchange's underpass remains under construction and is expected to finish before the Thanksgiving holiday.
