Riverside Holiday Maker's Market Set for December 5 With About 60 Local Vendors
The City of Riverside, in Riverside County, California, has announced that it will host a Holiday Maker's Market with the Inland Empire Small Business Development Center (SBDC) on Saturday, December 5, from 5 to 10 p.m., along Main Street between 10th and 12th Streets in downtown Riverside, with about 60 local entrepreneurs and small businesses setting up stalls.
The city said the market gives shoppers a chance to find unique holiday gifts while supporting local entrepreneurs. This year's lineup includes entrepreneurs who have completed the SBDC's training courses, which help business owners develop their products and prepare to enter the marketplace.
Miranda Evans, Riverside's community and economic development director, said the market is part of the city's annual effort to support its local small-business community. The city said additional details, including vendor highlights and programming, will be announced as plans are finalized.
The market site on Main Street sits in the heart of downtown Riverside's holiday season district; the nearby Mission Inn Hotel & Spa light display switches on November 21. The city advises residents heading to the market to plan for downtown traffic and parking that evening.
