HOUSTON, TEXAS — EOG Resources, Inc. on November 5 reported third quarter 2026 results: net income of $2.8 billion, or $5.33 per share, and adjusted net income of $2.5 billion, or $4.87 per share. Total revenue was $8.549 billion, compared with $5.847 billion a year earlier. Net cash provided by operating activities was $3.8 billion and free cash flow $2.2 billion. EOG paid $544 million in regular dividends during the quarter and repurchased 7.0 million shares for $1.0 billion at an average price of $143 per share, leaving $10.6 billion remaining under its repurchase authorization as of September 30.
On volumes, the company's oil, natural gas liquids and natural gas production all set records and beat guidance midpoints: total production averaged 1.433 million barrels of oil equivalent per day, including oil production of 550,400 barrels per day. The board declared a regular quarterly dividend of $1.10 per share, an 8% increase for an indicated annual rate of $4.40, payable January 29, 2027, to stockholders of record as of January 15, 2027.
EOG also entered a new long-term natural gas sales agreement linked to JKM pricing, set to begin by 2030. The Houston, Texas-based independent exploration and production company held its third-quarter webcast on November 6, with the replay available on its investor website for one year.
