爱达荷州 Caldwell 路口两车相撞 81岁司机当场身亡
爱达荷州坎宁县 Caldwell 消息：爱达荷州警察局11月6日通报，当天下午2时54分，Caldwell 的 Purple Sage Road 与 Hop Road 交叉口发生一起两车相撞致命车祸，一名81岁男子当场身亡。
警方说，一辆2011年款 GMC Canyon 皮卡由一名81岁的 Caldwell 男子驾驶，沿 Hop Road 向南行驶，在停车标志前未让行；一辆2024年款 RAM 3500 皮卡牵引一辆2002年款挂车，由一名32岁的 Parma 女子驾驶，沿 Purple Sage Road 向西行驶，两车在路口中央相撞。GMC 皮卡司机当场因伤身亡，RAM 皮卡司机没有受伤，两名司机当时都系了安全带。
事发路段封闭约3小时，坎宁县警长办公室、县急救部门和县消防部门到场协助。爱达荷州警察局表示，这起车祸仍在调查中。

81-Year-Old Man Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash at Caldwell Intersection in Idaho
CALDWELL, Idaho — Idaho State Police said a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Purple Sage Road and Hop Road in Caldwell at 2:54 p.m. on November 6 killed an 81-year-old man at the scene.
Police said a 2011 GMC Canyon pickup driven by the 81-year-old Caldwell man was heading south on Hop Road and failed to yield at a stop sign, while a 2024 RAM 3500 pickup towing a 2002 trailer, driven by a 32-year-old Parma woman, was traveling west on Purple Sage Road. The two vehicles collided in the middle of the intersection. The GMC driver died of his injuries at the scene; the RAM driver was not injured. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
The roadway was closed for about three hours. The Canyon County Sheriff's Office, county EMS and the county fire department assisted at the scene. Idaho State Police said the crash remains under investigation.
