DETROIT, Michigan — Top-ranked Ferris State routed Wayne State 80-0 on November 7 at Tom Adams Field in Detroit, winning its 40th straight game to tie the NCAA Division II record. The previous mark was set by Grand Valley State from 2005 to 2007. Ferris State has not lost since its 2024 season opener on August 31, 2024, against Pittsburg State (Kansas). In Saturday's game, Ferris State led 42-0 at halftime, with Wayne State not recording a first down until midway through the second quarter; Ferris State piled up 620 yards of offense while allowing just 17 — 11 rushing and 6 passing. Ferris State is now 10-0. Next, the Bulldogs host Roosevelt University at 1 p.m. on November 14; a win would give them sole possession of the Division II consecutive-wins record.
