伊利诺伊州警征集I-80肇事逃逸线索：路人下车查看车损时被路过车辆撞至重伤
伊利诺伊州警察局11月7日发布通报，刑事调查处第一区正就一起重伤肇事逃逸事故向公众征集线索。
事故发生在11月1日凌晨3时10分至3时19分之间，地点在伊利诺伊州威尔县 New Lenox 市附近的 I-80 州际公路东行方向 Maple Road 一带。当时先发生一起涉及两辆车的财产损失事故，其中一辆车上的一名乘客下车到右侧路肩查看车辆损坏情况，随后被一辆路过车辆撞倒。肇事车辆被描述为一辆白色、银色或黑色轿车，撞人后逃离现场。
被撞乘客被送往当地医院，伤势严重、有生命危险。

Illinois State Police Seek Tips in I-80 Hit-and-Run That Left a Passenger With Life-Threatening Injuries
The Illinois State Police said on November 7 that its Division of Criminal Investigation Zone 1 is asking the public for help in a serious-injury hit-and-run crash.
The crash occurred on November 1 between 3:10 a.m. and 3:19 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 80 at Maple Road in New Lenox, Will County, Illinois. A two-unit property-damage crash had occurred first, and a passenger who got out of one of the vehicles onto the right shoulder to assess the damage was struck by a passing vehicle. The offending vehicle, described as a white, silver or black sedan, fled the scene.
The passenger who was struck was taken to an area hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries.
Anyone with information, or who may have dashcam video of the crash, is asked to contact Illinois State Police Zone 1 at (847) 294-4400 or email [email protected]. Witnesses can remain anonymous.
