河滨县七家非盈利机构获州参议员塞万提斯表彰 内陆县法律服务组织当选年度非盈利
加利福尼亚州第 31 选区州参议员萨布丽娜·塞万提斯（Sabrina Cervantes）近日表彰了七家本地非盈利组织。表彰仪式在河滨社区学院区百年广场大楼举行，其中内陆县法律服务组织（Inland Counties Legal Services，ICLS）获选为本选区的年度非盈利组织。ICLS 今年早些时候已在州议会大厦的特别仪式上，与来自加利福尼亚州各地的另外 118 家优秀非盈利组织一同受到表彰。

Seven Riverside County Nonprofits Honored by Sen. Cervantes; Inland Counties Legal Services Named Nonprofit of the Year
California State Senator Sabrina Cervantes of the 31st Senate District has recognized seven local nonprofit organizations at the district's 2026 Nonprofit Recognition Ceremony, held at the Riverside Community College District Centennial Plaza Building in Riverside, California. Inland Counties Legal Services (ICLS) was named the district's Nonprofit of the Year. ICLS was celebrated earlier this year among 118 other outstanding nonprofit organizations from across California during a special presentation on the Senate Floor at the State Capitol.
Founded in 1958, ICLS began with a simple mission: to ensure that individuals and families facing financial hardship would not be denied justice simply because they could not afford legal representation. Nearly 70 years later, that mission reaches individuals and families throughout Riverside and San Bernardino counties, providing free legal help to low-income residents. Senator Cervantes said the honored organizations provide real help to Inland Empire residents every day.
The 2026 honorees also include the Building Up Lives Foundation; Feeding America Riverside and San Bernardino, which alleviates hunger and food insecurity for individuals throughout the Inland Empire; the San Bernardino Community Service Center; and the Southern California Railway Museum, which preserves the history of rail transportation and its role in shaping the communities of the region.
The Inland Empire is a major region of Southern California, and nonprofits in Riverside and San Bernardino counties play an important role in food assistance, legal services, housing support and community services. The 31st Senate District covers parts of Riverside County, and Senator Cervantes holds the nonprofit recognition ceremony each year to honor the work of local nonprofits.
