卡尔弗城图书馆11月7日连办两场文化活动：印度彩图与中美洲音乐同日登场
位于加利福尼亚州洛杉矶县卡尔弗城的卡尔弗城朱利安·迪克森图书馆（4975 Overland Avenue）将于11月7日（周六）连办两场文化活动，上午是儿童手作，下午是音乐分享。
上午11时至下午12时30分，「兰戈里：图案里的艺术」邀请5至12岁儿童认识印度传统节日彩图兰戈里（Rangoli）：这种以对称、几何与重复构成的地面图案是庆典中象征积极与好运的符号，孩子们将在现场动手设计自己的作品。
下午2时至3时，「中美洲音乐」由拉萨罗·阿尔维苏（Lazaro Arvizu）带领成年参加者认识中美洲的乐器与文化，以庆祝原住民遗产月。活动名额有限、需要预约，余位允许现场参加；该场由卡尔弗城图书馆之友会共同赞助。

Two Cultural Programs in One Day at Culver City Library November 7: Rangoli Art and Music of Mesoamerica
The Culver City Julian Dixon Library, at 4975 Overland Avenue in the City of Culver City, Los Angeles County, California, will host two cultural programs on Saturday, November 7 — a morning workshop for children and an afternoon of music.
From 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., "Rangoli: Art in Every Pattern" introduces children ages 5 to 12 to Rangoli, the traditional art form used in celebrations. Using symmetry, geometry and repetition, participants will create their own design as a symbol of positivity and good fortune.
From 2 to 3 p.m., "Music of Mesoamerica" with Lazaro Arvizu invites adults to experience the musical instruments and cultures of Mesoamerica in celebration of Native American Heritage Month. Space is limited and reservations are required, with walk-ins welcome as space permits; the program is co-sponsored by the Culver City Friends of the Library.
