美国国务院11月6日发布媒体通告，国务卿马尔科·鲁比奥（Marco Rubio）将于11月8日至10日前往法国巴黎，出席七国集团（G7）外长会议。
国务院发言人办公室表示，鲁比奥将在会上与七国集团同行展开接触，推进美国利益。
七国集团成员包括美国、英国、加拿大、德国、法国、意大利和日本，法国现任七国集团轮值主席国。据路透社报道，这次外长会是共和党在本周二中期选举中大败之后，美国最高外交官的首次出访；法国方面在最后一刻把会议地点从马赛改到巴黎，当时法国正值持续六周的全国抗议。会议定于11月9日至10日在巴黎举行。

Rubio to Travel to France for G7 Foreign Ministers Meeting, November 8-10
The U.S. Department of State issued a media note on November 6 announcing that Secretary of State Marco Rubio will travel to Paris, France, November 8-10. The Secretary will attend the G7 Foreign Ministers Meeting, where he will advance American interests in engagements with his G7 counterparts, the Office of the Spokesman said.
The Group of Seven also includes Britain, Canada, Germany, Italy and Japan, and France currently holds the G7 presidency. According to Reuters, the meeting will be the U.S. top diplomat's first trip since the Republican Party's sweeping losses in Tuesday's midterm elections, and France moved the meeting from Marseille to Paris at the last minute amid nationwide protests. The meeting is scheduled for November 9-10 in Paris.
