Nintendo President Calls Pokémon Winds and Waves a Crucial Switch 2 Release: Due in 2027, Sales Push Promised
Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa said in this week's financial results Q&A that Pokémon Winds and Pokémon Waves, the new mainline Pokémon titles scheduled for release on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027, will be a crucial release as the console enters its third year, and that Nintendo intends to do its utmost to maximize their sales. The two titles are developed by GAME FREAK.
