马里兰州盖瑟斯堡美京华人活动中心44周年 11月8日办庆典
马里兰州蒙哥马利县盖瑟斯堡市（华盛顿都会区）美京华人活动中心1982年11月6日创立，11月6日当天满44周年，44周年庆典定于11月8日周日上午10时至下午1时30分在盖瑟斯堡市盖瑟路9318号215室的中心艺廊举行，内容包括文艺表演、抽奖、午餐与游戏，并向成人日间保健中心大厅与音乐室直播。
中心由五位创办人于1982年11月6日建立，现设七个部门、30个俱乐部、近2000名活跃会员，是华盛顿都会区最大的草根华人组织之一。中心下设的成人日间保健中心为华语长者提供医疗、交通与双语服务；2015年创办的华人活动中心学院现有约3000名学生、来自近2000个家庭，校舍2.4万平方英尺，面向2至13岁儿童。庆典仅限会员参加，名额有限、报满即止。
CCACC Marks 44th Anniversary With Celebration in Gaithersburg on November 8
GAITHERSBURG, Md. — The Chinese Culture and Community Service Center (CCACC), founded on November 6, 1982, marked its 44th anniversary on November 6. Its 44th anniversary celebration will be held on Sunday, November 8, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the center's gallery, Suite 215 at 9318 Gaither Road in Gaithersburg, featuring cultural performances, a raffle, lunch and games, with a livestream to the Adult Day Healthcare Center's hall and music room.
Founded by five community members in 1982, the center now has seven departments, 30 clubs and nearly 2,000 active members, making it one of the largest grassroots Chinese organizations in the Washington metropolitan area. Its Adult Day Healthcare Center provides medical care, transportation and bilingual services for Chinese-speaking seniors. The CCACC Academy, founded in 2015, serves about 3,000 students from nearly 2,000 families in a 24,000-square-foot facility for children ages 2 to 13. The celebration is open to members only, with limited capacity.
