PHOENIX, Ariz. — Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Corbin Carroll had surgery this week to remove loose bodies from his right elbow, the team confirmed on November 6.
Carroll, 26, hit .239 this season with 22 home runs, 33 doubles, a league-leading 17 triples and 78 RBIs. Earlier this month he won his first Gold Glove award.
The team expects his full recovery to take about eight weeks, which should have him ready for the start of spring training in February.
