佛蒙特州 West Rutland 单车事故：轿车雨中失控撞护栏、驾驶员未受伤
据佛蒙特州警察局 Rutland 分局通报，11月5日约15时17分，佛蒙特州拉特兰县 West Rutland 镇境内、佛蒙特州4号公路西行方向6号出口附近发生一起单车事故，无人受伤。事发时当地降雨、路面湿滑。
通报说，35岁的 Michael Munch 住在佛蒙特州 Poultney，驾驶一辆2014款 Toyota Corolla 汇入4号公路西行车道时，为避让另一辆车过度修正方向，在湿滑路面上失去控制，车辆撞上护栏、车头受损。Munch 当时系了安全带、没有受伤。事故处理期间西行车道一度只开放一条车道通行，受损车辆因损坏被拖离现场。本案编号26B4008359，由州警 Christopher Highbarger 处理，民事违规投诉尚待处理。

Single-Vehicle Crash in West Rutland, Vermont: Car Hits Guardrail in Rain, Driver Uninjured
The Vermont State Police Rutland barracks reported a single-vehicle crash with no injuries on November 5 at approximately 3:17 p.m. on Vermont Route 4 westbound near Exit 6 in West Rutland, in Rutland County, Vermont. It was raining at the time and the road was wet.
According to the release, Michael Munch, 35, of Poultney, Vermont, was merging onto Route 4 westbound in a 2014 Toyota Corolla when he overcorrected the steering wheel to avoid a collision with another vehicle. He lost control of the car on the wet road and the vehicle collided with the guardrail, sustaining front-end damage. Munch was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. Westbound travel was restricted to one lane while first responders cleared the scene, and the vehicle was towed due to the damage. The case, number 26B4008359, is being handled by Trooper Christopher Highbarger; a Vermont civil violation complaint is pending.
