Caltrans Closes Southbound Euclid Avenue On-Ramp to SR-71 in Chino Hills on Nov. 5 for Electrical Maintenance
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) conducted electrical maintenance on State Route 71 (SR-71) in Chino Hills, San Bernardino County, California, on November 5: from 9 a.m. to noon that day, the southbound Euclid Avenue on-ramp was fully closed so crews could repair the vehicle detection loop, weather permitting.
The city notice said commuters could use the on-ramp at Pine Avenue to enter SR-71 southbound during the work, and asked drivers to reduce speed near work areas for the safety of crews and other drivers. The notice was sent by the City of Chino Hills to opt-in subscribers through its alert system.
