美国版权局完成25,238册版权历史记录数字化：逾2,170万幅影像开放查阅
美国版权局11月5日在其《NewsNet》第1099期宣布，版权历史记录册藏（Copyright Historical Record Books Collection）中的25,238册装订本版权历史记录现已全部完成数字化。
该藏包含1870年至1977年间装订成册的版权申请及其他记录，影像总数超过2,170万幅，是这批实体馆藏的数字预览。版权局计划今后把已数字化的历史记录册并入版权公共记录系统（CPRS），使单条记录更易检索。
版权局局长 Shira Perlmutter 表示：「版权局的历史记录册藏透过版权作者身份与所有权的视角，提供了美国文化多年来的重要缩影。今天完成其数字化这一里程碑，确保这些记录为未来留存，并可供任何地方的任何人查阅。」
版权局称，该局通过数字化保障与保存历史记录的更多工作，可在其历史公共记录计划网页查阅。

U.S. Copyright Office Completes Digitization of Over 25,000 Copyright Historical Record Books
The U.S. Copyright Office announced on November 5 in NewsNet Issue 1099 that 25,238 bound copyright historical record books in its Copyright Historical Record Books Collection have now been digitized.
The collection contains over 21.7 million images of copyright applications and other records bound in books dating from 1870 to 1977, and serves as a digital preview of the physical collection. The Office plans in the future to incorporate the digitized historical record books into its Copyright Public Records System (CPRS) to make individual records easier to search.
"The Copyright Office's Historical Record Books Collection provides an important snapshot of the culture of the United States over the years, through the lens of copyright authorship and ownership," said Register of Copyrights Shira Perlmutter. "Today's milestone in completing their digitization ensures these records are preserved for the future and accessible to anyone, anywhere."
