受影响的批次包括:X-Dream 的 10/24、07/25、10/25、12/25 批次,X-Dream Total Dry 的 10/24、07/25、11/25 批次,X-All Mountain Hammer 与 X-All Mountain Adze 的 10/24、09/25 批次。
进口商为位于 Colorado 州 Golden 的 C.A.M.P.
C.A.M.P. Recalls About 2,230 Mountain Ice Axes Over Fall Hazard from Loosening Screws
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced on November 5 that C.A.M.P. has recalled about 2,230 mountain ice axes, covering specific batches of the X-Dream (model 3570), X-Dream Total Dry (model 3609), X-All Mountain Hammer (model 3630) and X-All Mountain Adze (model 3631), as well as the model 3641 X-Bolt accessory nut-and-bolt kit.
According to the CPSC notice, a screw securing the handle and pick on the recalled axes can loosen during use, causing the handle or pick to detach and posing a fall hazard that can result in serious injury or death. The firm's investigation found that on technical ice axes made after October 2024, repeated tightening and loosening cycles can cause galling between the screw and the nut, allowing the screw to work loose.
The affected batches are 10/24, 07/25, 10/25 and 12/25 for the X-Dream; 10/24, 07/25 and 11/25 for the X-Dream Total Dry; and 10/24 and 09/25 for the X-All Mountain Hammer and X-All Mountain Adze. The batch number is printed on the side of the shaft in the section bearing the CE marking with no brand logo. Previous-generation X-Dream and X-All Mountain axes are not affected.
The axes were sold at REI stores nationwide and online at Camp-usa.com, Backcountry.com, Amazon.com and REI.com from November 2025 through September 2026 for between $30 and $330. The importer is C.A.M.P. USA Inc., of Golden, Colorado, and the products were manufactured in Italy. The recall is a Fast Track recall, and no incidents or injuries have been reported.
Consumers should stop using the recalled ice axes immediately and register on C.A.M.P.'s recall page at camp-usa.com to receive a free repair kit, with the model and batch number available. Consumers can also have the firm repair the axes; the firm will send a prepaid shipping label and packaging for the return.
