盐湖城储能企业Torus获评年度电池制造商 GigaOne工厂年产能目标1吉瓦
总部位于盐湖城的储能企业Torus 11月5日宣布，公司在底特律举行的北美电池展（The Battery Show North America）2026年电池奖评选中获评「年度电池制造商」。
获奖依据是Torus的GigaOne工厂：这座占地54.5万平方英尺的工厂位于盐湖城，2026年初投产，目标年产总装机容量达1吉瓦的储能系统。工厂生产的产品名为Torus Station，由Torus Spin飞轮与Torus Pulse磷酸铁锂电池组合而成。

Salt Lake City's Torus named Battery Manufacturer of the Year; GigaOne plant targets 1 GW a year
Salt Lake City-based energy storage company Torus announced on November 5 that it has been named Battery Manufacturer of the Year at the 2026 Battery Awards, presented at The Battery Show North America in Detroit.
The award centers on Torus's GigaOne plant, a 545,000-square-foot factory in Salt Lake City that began production in early 2026 and targets 1 gigawatt of energy storage systems per year. The plant builds the Torus Station, which combines the Torus Spin flywheel with the Torus Pulse lithium-iron-phosphate battery.
Torus operates three facilities in Utah and in June 2026 launched a tuition-free technician onboarding program with Salt Lake Community College. The company previously received a TIME Best Invention honor and a 2025 R&D 100 Award. (Source: Torus)
