夏威夷食品银行停摆期间加开发放 迎风社区学院一场服务约500户家庭
联邦政府停摆持续之际，夏威夷食品银行11月5日在迎风社区学院（Windward Community College）加开临时食品发放点，在校园停车场为约500户家庭发放食品。这场发放由食品银行与州众议员北川丽莎（Lisa Kitagawa）等人共同协调，是「紧急食品援助计划」的一部分。
食品银行11月6日还将在阿洛哈体育场（Aloha Stadium）举行停摆以来规模最大的发放活动，预计服务约2000户家庭。

Hawai'i Foodbank adds distributions during federal shutdown; Windward pop-up serves about 500 families
With the federal government shutdown continuing, the Hawai'i Foodbank opened a pop-up distribution at Windward Community College on November 5, serving about 500 families in the campus parking lot. The distribution was co-coordinated with State Representative Lisa Kitagawa and others under the Emergency Food Assistance Program.
On November 6, the food bank was set to hold its largest distribution since the shutdown began, at Aloha Stadium, expecting about 2,000 households.
The shutdown has delayed federal food assistance and interrupted pay for some federal workers, driving up demand across Hawai'i, and the food bank and its partners have added distribution sites around O'ahu. (Source: Hawai'i Foodbank)
