Trump Jr. heckled by students during visit to Emory University law school in Atlanta
Donald Trump Jr., the president's eldest son, was met with boos and protests during a November 4 visit to Emory University School of Law in Atlanta. According to TMZ, which published video of the visit, Trump Jr. was there to support his business partner Omeed Malik at a ribbon-cutting for a law school building named after Malik, an alumnus; students had not been told in advance that Trump Jr. would attend.
The two spent about four hours on campus, including a fireside chat with roughly 100 students, during which four people stood up and shouted, interrupting the event. As the pair left, a heckler shouted, 'The country has rebuked you!' The visit came a day after the November 3 midterm elections, in which Democrats won control of both chambers of Congress.
