$847M Powerball jackpot ticket sold at a Wegmans in Montvale, New Jersey
Powerball announced on November 5 that a ticket winning the $847 million jackpot was sold at a Wegmans supermarket in Montvale, New Jersey. It is New Jersey's 13th Powerball jackpot win, the ninth-largest Powerball prize ever and the second-largest in the state.
The Wegmans store that sold the ticket receives a $30,000 bonus and said it will donate the money to the Check Out Hunger food drive, which runs October 21 to November 28. The winner has until November 4, 2027, to claim the prize. With the jackpot hit, the Powerball pool resets to $20 million.
