内华达州参议院民主党推举 Flores 任下届多数党领袖
内华达州参议院民主党人11月5日推举州参议员 Edgar Flores 为下届多数党领袖，接替将转任州总检察长的现任领袖 Nicole Cannizzaro。2027年立法会期定于2月1日开幕。
Flores 是拉斯维加斯的移民律师，2022年起担任州参议院第2选区议员，自2015年起进入州议会。他表示，新会期的优先事项包括住房、医疗、公立学校与经济。民主党在本届选举中同时赢得州长职位（Aaron Ford 击败 Joe Lombardo），在该州实现州长与议会两院由同一党掌控的局面。

Nevada Senate Democrats choose Edgar Flores as next majority leader
Nevada Senate Democrats chose state Senator Edgar Flores on November 5 as their next majority leader, succeeding Nicole Cannizzaro, who is moving to the attorney general's office. The 2027 legislative session opens February 1.
Flores, a Las Vegas immigration attorney, has represented Senate District 2 since 2022 and has served in the legislature since 2015. He named housing, health care, public schools and the economy as priorities. Democrats also won the governorship, with Aaron Ford defeating Joe Lombardo, giving the party a state-government trifecta.
