Regional Immigration Summit Convenes in Salt Lake City with Gov. Cox; 2026 Immigration Brief Released
A regional immigration summit convened on November 5 in Salt Lake City, Utah, bringing together business executives, congressional and state leaders, policy experts and national partners for an invitation-only, cross-partisan discussion of immigration, workforce and economic competitiveness.
The summit, hosted by State Business Executives, the Center for Economic Opportunity and Belonging and the Latin Chamber of Commerce of Nevada at Zions Bank headquarters in downtown Salt Lake City, followed a November 4 reception. Utah Governor Spencer Cox was among the leaders attending.
The meeting featured the public release of CommonSense America's 2026 Immigration Brief, which sets out where Americans across the political spectrum are finding common ground on immigration. (Source: State Business Executives)
