南达科他州选民否决I号修正案 医疗补助扩大保障留在州宪法
南达科他州选民在11月3日的公投中否决了I号修正案，保住了州宪法中的扩大医疗补助保障。南达科他公共广播报道，反对票约占56%，赞成票约占44%。
I号修正案由州议会于2025年提交公投，内容是：若联邦政府对扩大医疗补助的出资比例降至90%以下，将取消州宪法对扩大覆盖的要求。修正案被否决后，即使联邦出资下降，南达科他州仍须维持对低收入成年人的扩大覆盖。目前联邦政府承担扩大覆盖90%的费用，州政府承担10%。

South Dakota Voters Reject Amendment I, Keeping Medicaid Expansion in the Constitution
South Dakota voters on November 3 rejected Amendment I, a legislatively referred measure that would have removed the state constitution's Medicaid expansion requirement if the federal government's share of expansion costs fell below 90 percent. The amendment failed with about 56 percent voting no and 44 percent yes, South Dakota Public Broadcasting reported.
With the amendment defeated, the constitutional guarantee of expanded Medicaid coverage for low-income adults stays in place even if the federal match is reduced. The federal government currently pays 90 percent of expansion costs and the state 10 percent.
In the same election, voters rejected Amendment L, which would have raised the threshold for passing constitutional amendments to 60 percent, and approved Amendments J and K. (Source: South Dakota Public Broadcasting)
